Families on Trial - A Mother's Story
  • A mother talks candidly about the devastation caused by the arrest and sentencing of her daughter.

    England and Wales has the highest imprisonment rate in Western Europe at 153 per 100,000 of the population. Their families are rarely heard. According to Government research, prisoners who are supported and visited by their families are 25 per cent less likely to re-offend than those who have no family contact or support.
