In addition to his work as a screenwriter, director and producer, Chicago native Michael Dushon Ballard is a pastor, a relationship coach and photographer.  He has written for films, television, the stage and animation, and along with Master P, co-wrote the urban comedy “I Got the Hook Up 2”.  He has produced several projects under MDB Productions including “The World of T.E.F.L.O.N.” (a heroic novel ), and “UGLY Girl” (feature film).  He was also one of the writers of “The Haven” drama series. 

Michael graduated from the New York Film School in Directing/Filming Making/Writing, and attended Malcolm X College for business administration, completed the SBA program for minority business owners.
