Film Synopsis
Tainted Love tells the story of a mysterious and beautiful young woman who arrives unexpectedly in a quiet Oxfordshire village. Her presence awakens deep desires within Rachel, a resident of a nearby country house, while simultaneously unsettling the local community. As unexplained accidents and disturbing events begin to occur, suspicion falls upon the newcomer. The villagers question whether she possesses supernatural powers or represents something darker. Set against a backdrop of sexual tension, fear, and secrecy, the film explores how desire and prejudice can collide in destructive ways.

About Tainted Love
Written by Mol Smith, the creative intent behind Tainted Love reflects a deliberate homage to classic British folk-horror cinema. Drawing inspiration from films such as The Wicker Man and Witchfinder General, Moore envisioned a modern interpretation of rural paranoia, desire, and superstition.
